About the Barrie Wells Trust
The Barrie Wells Trust is a charitable organisation, founded in 2008 by our Chairman and sports philanthropist Barrie Wells MBE.
Barrie is the sole funder of the charity and as such we do not seek any fundraising or financial donations. If you would like to help support us then please visit our Box4Kids page where we are encouraging other box holders to donate their executive box for an event to deserving children. The aims of the Barrie Wells Trust are:
To further the care, relief and convalescence of seriously ill, terminally ill and disabled children and their families.
To help encourage and inspire young people.
What do we do?
We have provided unique and exciting experiences for children through our two schemes, Box4Kids and Athletes4Schools. Athletes4Schools ended together with the Olympics in 2012 which led to the development of a new name and logo for our charity.
We changed the name from the Wells Sports Foundation to the Barrie Wells Trust in March 2015, to reflect the expansion of our Box4Kids project.
