The Barrie Wells Trust are delighted to have been announced a Charity Partner of The Jockey Club alongside Rainbow Trust and Carers Trust. For the next two years The Jockey Club will support Box4Kids by offering access to hospitality boxes at the 15 racecourses they operate across the UK.
The relationship between the Barrie Wells Trust and The Jockey Club started in 2015 with events at Aintree, Haydock and Carlisle, which gave a taste for what a fantastic experience VIP treatment at a day at the races can be. Being an official charity partner we can offer these unforgettable days out to deserving children in the rest of the country.

Commenting on the partnership, Barrie Wells said, “It is a great honour for the Barrie Wells Trust to be selected as a charity partner by The Jockey Club. Being treated like a VIP for a day at the races, including going into the paddocks, meeting jockeys and even presenting prizes, will be an unforgettable experience and a welcome break from everyday struggles for seriously ill children. We are delighted to partner up with The Jockey Club to provide these amazing opportunities.”
Paul Fisher, Group Managing Director of Jockey Club Racecourses said, “All of us at The Jockey Club are delighted to be working with Barrie Wells Trust, Rainbow Trust and Carers Trust over the next two years. All three charities provide a huge amount of amazing support for those in need, in different ways and I am delighted that we will be able to help them in this important work.”
We look forward to a successful two years, making memories with The Jockey Club for a great number of seriously ill children and their families!
