In connection with Radio Yorkshire donating a box at Leeds United to Box4Kids for a second year, Barrie spoke to Darren Harper last week about the steady growth of the initiative and the great generosity of Yorkshire box holders.
Five seriously ill children from local hospitals witnessed a win for Leeds United at Elland Road this Saturday from the comfort of a box donated by Radio Yorkshire. The VIP treatment, including delicious food, hospitality and watching the game from the balcony seats outside the box, really added to the children’s joy of watching their favourite team get three points.
