In loving memory of Tom Bromley who very sadly lost his battle with cancer on 26th November 2016 at just 19 years of age.
Tom, who was diagnosed with a sarcoma with spinal cord compression, was invited to attend one of our most prestigious Box4Kids events at Farnborough International Airshow earlier this year. He was joined by his mum Elizabeth, Dad Gordon and his twin sister Emma.
Tom was treated like the true VIP that he was … meeting US pilots, the Red Arrows team, Breitling Wing Walkers and Richard Goodwin. And he was able to enjoy all the excitement of the show from the comfort of Embraer’s chalet, which gave some of the best views of the airfield.
The day created some precious memories for Tom’s family and it was a real honour to meet this special young man and his family, who are all very much in our thoughts.
Brave youngsters such as Tom are the individuals who inspire Barrie to fund Box4Kids to help create some respite for all of the amazing children who have to endure such difficulty at a young age.
We would like to thank our partners Farnborough Airshow and Embraer for working with us at this particular event and helping to create such an important and memorable day. And should there be any other box holders who would like to get involved by donating their boxes then please do get in touch. Your involvement really can help to make a difference to the lives of deserving children and their families.
