May has been a great month for Box4Kids providing over 130 of our guests amazing VIP experiences taking place at eight different venues across the UK.
Box4Kids hosted our first cricket match of the year for the first time at Kent County Cricket Club. The guests that attended had a fun filled day creating memories together and forgetting about the challenges they face on a daily basis. One child that attended, eight year old Thomas that has a cardiac condition, loved meeting the Kent Spitfires squad. His mum, Joanna, said:
“Thomas had an amazing time. Best day of his life he said on the way home.”
We finished the football season on a high with Barrie being joined by the globally renowned actor, David Morrissey, to host the LFC vs Brighton match at Barrie’s Anfield box. Deserving children enjoyed the luxury of watching the match from the VIP box, allowing them to comfortably cheer on their favourite team!
Les Ambassadeurs kindly donated their executive box at Leicester City twice this month. This allowed children that are currently going through many medical procedures, for treatment of illnesses such as cancer, cystic fibrosis and diabetes, to have a day away from their stress and enjoy themselves.
Box4Kids also enjoyed watching three WWE events that took place at the Genting Arena, O2 Arena and Metro Radio Arena. Many thanks to Amplify, BDO and Metro Radio Arena for donating these boxes! The children thoroughly enjoyed these shows.
