The Trust was awarded ‘Best Charity, NFP (not for profit) programme and ‘Best Sports and Leisure programme’ for the Box4Kids initiative, along with picking up bronze for ‘Best pro bono work for charitable, social or ethical cause.’

The awards are the UK’s only dedicated celebration of partnerships, sponsorship’s and corporate social responsibility and we came top of the table with our brilliant Box4Kids programme that helps to inspire businesses to work together for the benefit of seriously ill children.  Presented by Ade Adepitan, television presenter and Paralympic basketball medallist.

Barrie attended the awards with Goldie Sayers, 3 time Olympian and Javelin British record holder. Barrie comments:

‘To win these awards in a field that included the likes of KPMG and WPP is a complete honour. For the team at the Wells Sports Foundation, every day is a reward in working with such supportive partners donating their Boxes for the sole benefit of such deserving children to become true VIPs for the day. We celebrate these awards and accept them on behalf of all our corporate partners and the many children who have benefitted from their kindness.’
