Saracens V Newcastle Falcons: Saturday 12th November
The weekend kicked off with Barrie Wells hosting a group of young people and their families at Allianz Park for the Saracens V Newcastle match. Our guests, who were invited from hospitals across London, were made to feel like the true VIP’s for the day with incredible hospitality, goody bags and the best seats in the house.
With thanks to Allianz for enabling us to create a memorable Box4Kids experience.
Wales V Argentina: Saturday 12th November
Six children who have been diagnosed with a range of serious medical illness including muscular dystrophy, leukaemia, a brain tumour and a severe heart problem were given the chance to be treated like superstars thanks to the Principality Stadium.
The children and their families enjoyed watching the Wales V Argentina game and were treated to their own personalised rugby shirts along with visits from three Welsh rugby players, Jake Ball, Kristian Dacey and Keelan Giles.
The Open Sunday – Cheltenham Racecourse: Sunday 13th November
Last but not least, two young boys, who have both been diagnosed with cancer, were invited with their families to be treated like VIP’s for the day at Cheltenham racecourse. The many highlights included being allowed into the parade ring to chose the best turned out horse, presenting prizes, meeting jockeys, watching a race from the Royal box, goody bags and excellent hospitality.
Huge thanks to our charity partner The Jockey Club for creating such a special day out for the children.
